Gigi McMillan is the founder of Purple Runway and Chief Creative Officer of Kamisol Style Consultancy, Inc. (KSC)
As the CCO of Kamisol Style, Gigi serves as a creative visual branding strategist, personal style educator, and all around confidence builder.
SC, launched in 2012, operates as a socially conscious visual branding company who supports philanthropic corporations, small business owners, individuals, and change-makers on systematic visual processes. Gigi lends her unique approach to style to clients, emphasizing authentic personal-style-messaging. She’s best known for her Soul-Style Transformation System and is currently accepting new clients for virtual group training and one-on-one sessions focused on organic confidence, personality, and lifestyle.
Gigi has worked with local boutique agencies and outlets, along with national and international brands such as: Mercedes-Benz, Saks Fifth Avenue, Purple Purse, The National Network to End Domestic Violence, Women Giving Back, The Women’s Center, Colgan High School, Benton Middle School, Roche Salon, DC Trust, and Georgetown University, to name a few.
Gigi’s artistry has also been published in local, national, and international publications such as: Modern Luxury Magazine, Grace Ormonde Modern Luxury Wedding, Washington Parent, NOVA Magazine, Simply Weddings, Munaluchi Bride, and her own For the Love of Style Magazine, among others.
As the founder of Purple Runway, and a domestic violence survivor herself, Gigi launched the dynamic awareness platform in 2015 to create a safe environment for survivors to share stories, to recognize community champions and organizations, and to serve as a dedicated hub where thrivers meet to celebrate healthier, happier lives after abuse while standing in the gap for those still in the struggle. Over the years, Gigi has shown great commitment to her community with an emphasis on mental health wellness, holistic healing, and sisterhood through the Purple Runway annual event, fundraiser, and beyond.
Gigi graduated from Stanford-Brown College, a proud member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, PWCC, an organization who, among other things, advocates to increase mental health wellness within high schools by countering the stigma around depression and other signs of possible trauma early on.
Gigi has been married for 17 years with 2 vibrant children and one bubbly grandchild. During her downtime, she enjoys family affairs, the sun, nature, and fun with friends.
